This policy explains what information EZScribe collects, how it is used, and what choices you have when using the service.

Information we collect

We may collect account information such as your email address, display name, authentication provider, and subscription status. We also collect usage data such as transcription minutes used, selected plan, and basic product events needed to operate and improve the service.

Audio, video, and transcripts

Free transcription is processed on your device when supported. Pro transcription sends your media to transcription infrastructure so the transcript can be generated. Original audio and video files are not stored by EZScribe after processing. Generated transcript text is returned to you in the app.

Payments and authentication

Authentication is handled through Firebase Auth. Payments and subscription management are handled through Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on EZScribe servers.

Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand product usage, diagnose issues, and improve the user experience. Analytics events are used in aggregate and are not intended to expose your transcript content.

How we use information

We use information to provide transcription, manage accounts and subscriptions, calculate plan usage, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and respond to support requests.
