Can I extract audio from video online free?
Yes. Videos must be no larger than 200MB AND no longer than 10 minutes. No sign-in is needed within these limits. If either limit is exceeded, a subscription is required. Subscribers can process files up to 1GB without the free 10-minute limit.
Which audio format should I choose?
MP3 works well for listening and sharing. M4A can retain the original AAC audio without re-encoding when compatible. WAV is uncompressed and usually creates much larger files; it does not restore detail missing from the source.
Why can’t my video be processed?
A file may have no audio track or use an unsupported codec. Try another output format or a recent browser. A supported file extension alone does not guarantee codec support.
Does extraction use transcription minutes?
No. Audio extraction does not use transcription minutes. This tool exports the main audio track; it does not transcribe speech or separate voices from background music.
