How to trim audio online

- A compact choice for sharing voice clips, interviews and everyday listening. Exporting to MP3 may introduce some quality loss.
- M4A
- Useful for AAC audio workflows. Available when your browser supports AAC encoding; cropping a recording can require re-encoding.
- WAV
- Uncompressed audio for further editing. Files are larger, and exporting as WAV cannot recover detail missing from the original.

Can I remove a section from the middle?
This tool keeps one continuous selection and removes everything outside it. Removing a middle section and joining the remaining parts is not supported.
Does trimming preserve the original quality?
MP3 and M4A exports may re-encode the audio. WAV is uncompressed but does not improve the source recording. Listen to the exported clip before using it.
